Default Part Human, Part Rabbit...

I can't make this crap up...
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/n..._chimeras.html

Imagine a world run by fuzzy human rabbit hybrids. No longer would our poo be all squishy and gross. We would poo pellets. No longer would we have control of our poo either, in ever corner of every dwelling there would be little pellets.
Animal rights groups are declaring victory over humans. We could live happily on a steady diet of carrots, lettuce and assorted vegies.
Veggie-rights activists on the other hand, are none too pleased.

I am trying to think of other stupid things to say, but my mind isn't really functioning at full throttle at the moment. Help me out.

It's definetly disturbing if you ask me, only because they may go into it with the best intentions, but you just know some madman scientist is gonna make his own frankenstein mutant monster of sorts. Stuff like this scares the hell out of me. And messing with nature like this... oh man it's a recipe for disaster. I mean humans and rodents were never intended to intermix

I find that very interesting, but very scary at the same time. Messing with genes like this I do not think that is what God intended, or for you atheist/evolutionists , what mother nature intended. I do not think we should go messing with that kind of thing, although it is very intriguing.

Yes, I agree. And this is one example of disaster in the making:
Quote:
The embryos were reportedly the first human-animal chimeras successfully created. They were allowed to develop for several days in a laboratory dish before the scientists destroyed the embryos to harvest their stem cells.
If you're going to "cause", for lack of a better word, a human embryo to develop, then it's immoral to kill it. Same old debate.

There's little to be worried about when it comes to mice with human brains as referenced in the article. It would be such a tradgedy that with their huge intellects they still couldn't will their tiny legs to move such a huge brain. Fear the stationary menace!

But why a rabbit?

Why not something better like a Tiger or a Lion or a Bear or a Wolf or any nature killing machine.

Nope, I would fight in the Gorilla war. I would NEVER give in. Damn them, Damn them all to hell. lol

But seriously, my first thought was super soldiers that had the bodies of gorillas, and the brains of humans. Or maybe something else, a SUPER hybrid. Something that would be the perfect mix. Yeah, I can see some kinda Uber Soldat comming out of this.
