I'm spoiled. I've been using XP forever it seems.

Using anything else would be blasphemy.

I mainly play games in XP right now though I haven't booted into Xp in a while. Soon I'll go Windows-free and i'll play in Linux only.

Much as I Linux...XP is for gaming. Not because it's better (oh hell no ), but because that's what all the (games, driver) devs support.

I hope someone comes out with an OS that runs all DirectX games with online capability so that it runs games with no bloatware in the background. It would be awesome to see MS release WINXP Gamer Edition, that allows people to log in an account that has less resources running in background.

qb, server 2003 is it. it has most of the xp bloat services disabled upon install. you can also tailor it to a more workstation oriented machine environment. if you can get a legal copy of it i highly recommend it.
