Have you seen Shoot 'Em Up?

Totally awesome. IMO, it one up'd Sin City for being King of Cool. It's not for everybody, but it's pretty enjoyable. This quote basically sums it up:
Quote:
Every action movie has a moment so over the top you have to laugh; Shoot 'Em Up consists of nothing but these moments.

That movie was fun and funny. For some reason when they threw that doll out the window and Paul Giamatti ran over it and was like, "What the hell was that??!!" I laughed my ass off for about 5 minutes.

Never seen a movie in HD. Seen some Bluray demos in BestBuy. It was pretty cool I guess. We're getting a 26" HDTV, but it doesn't do 1080p iirc.

But I did see Lost In Translation last on regular DVD, first time was in theaters.

Awesome list...have seen most.
I also saw Total Recall in HD...hoo man, that movie looked great @1080p. It's crazy how they can take old movies and make 'em look awesome these days.

i recently watched a movie called wierdsville
was a Canadian made movie from 2007

and i really thought it was quite good actually

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0758798/

Quote:
Royce and Dexter are two slackers who live in the strange little town of Weedsville. When Royce's girlfriend Matilda overdose's on their stash and dies, they decide to bury her in an abandoned Drive-In theater. Things get out of control when they discover Satanists performing a ritual sacrifice right where they were going to bury the body...
was quite funny.

i recommend it.

Watching Cloverfield will truly strike fear into your heart, as you'll realize the moron that was responsible for it, is also who's hands LOST is in... I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best...

And don't say I didn't warn you about the fact that you'll be wasting 2hrs of your life you'll never get back

There Will Be Blood will satisfy though. And speaking of Daniel Day-Lewis:
Quote:
“Cameron Diaz was spotted in Santa Monica on the set of "My Sister’s Keeper" yesterday, in which she plays the sister of a girl with leukemia. In the movie, Cameron’s character shaves her head as a show of support. In reality, Cameron took the easy way out and used a cap and makeup. So now this movie about sick little kids looks like some kind of alien invasion project. She looks like that little kid from X-Men 3. A real actor would have shaved their head. Daniel Day-Lewis would have actually given himself leukemia.”
