[ISV-K]SVX is still being judged by the masses

Question Windows XP Refresh Rate and Multimedia Center/DVD ??

I just did a full install of Windows XP Pro this past weekend and have a few questions about my All In Wonder Radeon.

1.) I am using the latest WinXP drivers (WinXP 6.13.3286) and cannot seem to get a refresh rate higher than 60hz at 1600x1200. Display properties show 85hz, but the flicker on the screen and my monitor (Mitsubishi 2020U) show differently at 60Hz. How can I change it? Powerstrip did not change the refresh rate from 60hz either altho it shows 85Hz at 1600x1200. The flickering is really getting on my nerves :\

2.) Is there anyway to use ATI Multimedia Center 7.1 and the ATI DVD player in XP? I know ATI is planning on an XP release soon, but we all know how long "soon" is with them!! I really do enjoy watching TV on my pc and feel kind of naked without it.

Any assistance would greatly be appreciated.

Have you tried the new rage3d tweak? I believe it can change refresh rates. Same with Unitweaker

I'm having the exact same problem with the refresh rate as well. I just sent something in to ATI today.

I'll have to try that Rage3D Tweak and see what happens. Sucks running at 60Hz!

I just installed the 6.13.3281 beta drivers from this website, and I can now adjust the refresh rate on the "Displays" tab. Looks like it's fixed.

Now, let's hope RTCW still runs great

Default Powerstrip seems to do the trick

I've tried a buncha things, and with no luck, till I tried pstrip 3.0, now things are set just fine.
