curiophile has started Rage3D on a folding binge and hope all the Rage3D members will join! [email protected] otherwise known as [email protected] aims at solving the protein folding problem. Here's a summary from their page.
"Understanding how proteins self-assemble ("protein folding") is a holy grail of modern molecular biophysics. What makes it such a great challenge is its complexity, which renders simulations of folding extremely computationally demanding and difficult to understand."
Anyways about 30 people have joined so far and we are in 70th place. I hope to be in top 10 at least! ;) There is a [email protected] Team Rage3D forum if you have any questions.
You can download [email protected] here. To join the team just do this
"the first time you run [email protected] you will be prompted for a username or email, type in your username followed by '(Team Rage3D)'. for example 'kL13nT (Team Rage3D)' without the quotes. this name is case sensitive, so be sure that you type it accurately so that your work units are added to the team's statistics."
Hope to see your Rage3D spirit!
