Looking for Link Validator
I'm looking for some software, and I'm hoping someone can help me out.
I need a web site link validation tool that supports NT authentication (for local-intranet sites). I've tested several freeware/shareware/commercial demo tools, and while the vast majority* worked great for external sites, they completely choked on sites requiring NT authentication.
The only one that worked on our internal site was Xenu. This particularly compact (224k) tool worked great:
The only problem is that Xenu must be run manually, as it has no automation parameters.
Any recommendations? I already suggested using Xenu in conjuction with a task/macro scheduler of sorts, but my boss said that's too kludgy.
* Failed apps include:
Web Link Validator 2.0
Maxamine Web Analyst Standard .6.0PL7
KyoSoft Link Checker 1.1.74
CSE HTML Validator Professional 5.00
