Default anyone have an ms habu? (or a laser mouse) mouse pad reccs?

i "upgraded" from an mx510 to the habu a couple of months ago and i've been
putting off buying a mousepad for it.

and i need one.

this thing tracks like garbage on anything i've thrown at it except for my dad's
old "optical mousepad" cheapy from a local comp shop - and it worked better
on that than on anything i've tried.

it doesn't seem to like bright colours or bright anything. it shakes like mj.fox
on adhd when trying to do a line. lesser so on my current gray mousepad, but
if i wipe it down every day, it tracks fairly smoothly - not totally, but better
than anything else other than my dad's. it seems to like black and only black.

oh - and it's the MARIO PAINT grey mousepad i'm using right now.

i've done a quick browse around and it seems like people like the func line
of mouse pads, but they were all on g5s or mx51x mice.

anyone have a habu on one of these or similar mousepads?

I don't have that mouse.

But I've got two ideas for you.....
Looseleaf paper is always a good bet, you have to replace it and keep it from sliding, but it makes a surprisingly good mousing surface.

And what I use (with an MX518 on max DPI), an Xtrac pro pad...

I have the black version in this link. It a really thin pad that is rolled upwhen you get it. But it has little micro feet that when layed out will stay flat after a few days of use and it has been a great mouse pad for the money.

Habu is bascially the same mouse as the Death Adder, which I used on the Razer eXactMat. I used the speed side and it tracked great.

That is until the stupid mouse died. Now I'm using an MX518 on the pad. It doesn't glide as nice as the Death Adder. But it also doesn't die as much either.

I have the Habu mouse and I use this func pad

http://www.func.net/products/1030/index.html

I picked that one because it's small and fit my limited desk space. I have it laid out vertically. It is a nice mouse pad and works great with the Habu.

The Archetype model has the same double sides surface if u want something bigger.

I use a black kensington pad with gel wrist support, nothing too fancy.

month on stuff for my car).

can't be any worse than my nintendo mouse "pad".
