Not enough RGB, and that 1080Ti is so old...

If you want 1T you are gonna have to jack voltage.

The 3200 is giving it 1.35 Volts so that should be enough or not for 2T? Also one set is Samsung and other is Hynix so I am just glad that all 4 are working for now without BSODs.

1.35v is standard for 2T. You want 1T but it's probably going to require more voltage.

Ok then screw 1T. Ram running solid. Am happy with that and 32 GBs of RGB goodness. Not sure why the old one wasn’t pushing the profile.

I dunno, I'll find the box I'll PM you the serial number for mine.

Check for a bios update even though the TUF is ****.

Restore defaults and don't OC and just run with it and see if it crashes. Could just be the IMC crapping out.

Its not recommended to fill all 4 slots on a Z370 due to IMC issues. You may need to increase VCIO / VCSA voltage when using all 4 slots. And then there's the Hynix mixed with Samsung that could cause issues.

Why you gays think that 4 sticks is a bad idea? Also I am not overclocking. Technically I am running ram at rated spec only.

It takes more juice to run stable, mostly at 2T and that really depends on the mobo.

The ram is OC'd by default, supported ram is 2666MHz for the 8700K/8086K/9900K. Filling all 4 slots stresses the IMC on the CPU more so when using XMP on OC'd ram.

Then there's the issue of mixing Hynix with Samsung. Even though the primary timings are the same its the sub timings that will **** you.

There also could be something wrong with the board.

Update the bios for the board:

ASUS Z370 Pro TUF - 2203 ( latest bios )

Enable XMP and don't OC the CPU.

I'll find the serial today for my memory, things have just been stressful for me here....

I already updated bios. Also set everything default with only XMP at 3200. Didn't touch anything else. It has been working fine for 2 days. Had only 1 BSOD when I posted. Not sure wtf is wrong with the board/CPU/ram combo.

It's not uncommon for memory to not be stable at XMP settings at 1.35v, especially if the settings are aggressive (for the specific memory chip). I'd increase the memory voltage to 1.4v or 1.45v and see if that helps. You may need to increase your VCCIO and System Agent voltages as well, but I'd start with the memory voltage. With computers more voltage can usually fix most problems (although only up to a point).

I ended with 3000 at default volts (about 1.2) and C16. I think it is a good compromise to keep all 4 sticks in there.

You probably don't need 32GB of RAM for gaming but having four sticks is faster and 3000mhz is plenty fast to get the most out of gaming. I agree, it seems like a good compromise that utilizes all of your RAM.

So computer started giving me blue screens again for some reason. So I pulled the ram out and am running Hapa's ram sticks (which are Hynix btw). The Samsung ones I have are trash.

Let's see what G. Skill comes back with. I have zero hope. Hapa's ram is thus far OK w/ XMP profile at 3200 MHz.

I had weird **** happen last night. When I got home late from work I went to watch some Pornhub the website would scroll load from top to bottom slow. Responsiveness was also off. I'd click but nothing would happen. Even typing lagged out.

Ran a virus scan but came back negative. Even it took extremely long to do, an hour as opposed to a couple of minutes. Checked startup and memory usage and saw nothing strange.

Then I saw my CPU speed. 4.3GHz. Downloaded CPUZ, and my overclock wasn't set. Went into the BIOS. and only 2 cores were enabled . Reset CMOS and did a bios flash back using the newest bios.

Everything is working fine now, I had noticed some unusual stutter in some titles but after the reset everything is working fine.

I was thinking And23 found out where I lived and tried overclocking my system.

I wasn't supposed to be, when I put the new memory in I restored bios defaults and set my OC. I could've been running only 2 cores for awhile now.

How is GSkill warranty service? I have dealt with Corsair before and they were a champ but not GSkill. Am a bit worried that they will show me the finger on this since I ordered from Newegg USA and am in UAE.

P...uck Corsair warranty.

NCIX went bankrupt, I couldn't find the invoice pdf.

Corsair basically laughed in my face when I asked for warranty.

Dumbasses want me to foot the bill on shipping. Costs 60$ to ship to Taiwan. I paid 79$ to buy the kit. I knew this would happen. **** these idiots.

Me either. I only buy G.Skill RAM. I just recently upgrade my RAM by expanding its capacity. It just worked fine.

This is the issue I have with warranties/RMA's. Most companies want you to foot the bill for shipping, to get your defective hardware replaced. I have had many arguments with companies when this happens. Have only lost the argument once, and that was the last time I ever bought a product from that manufacture. The customer shouldn't be spending money out of their pocket to replace their defective product. That should be on the company. Specially when most don't have a physical store front anymore.

In your case, it's even worse, where the shipping is almost as much as what you paid in the first place.

My first Asus X99 Deluxe was defective. Bought from Newegg and hadn't even had it a day. Newegg refused to do anything for me ( one main reason why I refuse to buy from Newegg anymore ). They said I had bent the pins in the socket...

Contacted Asus, and they replaced it for me. Cross-shipped it even for me and I paid nothing for shipping.
