Default New Laptop

I am looking for a new laptop around $500. It would be used for basic productivity stuff and some light gaming. Mostly kids stuff like club penguin and maybe some slightly more graphically intense gaming. I am looking at this one. How does it look? I have not shopped for laptops in a long time but I have always liked Lenovo's.

Thanks

Looks like a good laptop, however it has a 4GB and a 2GB set of RAM. I believe that is a single-channel configuration which would starve the graphics portion of the APU for bandwidth. Depending on the games, it may not even matter.

I recently purchased a Lenovo Ideapad Flex 14. You can find the information in this forum http://www.rage3d.com/board/showthread.php?t=34007661
You can find configurations that will run about $500 as well.

If I upgrade to 8gb is it best to get a matching pair of 4gb sticks or can I just pull the 2gb stick and put in another 4gb?

If the frequency, timings, and voltages match then it should work fine.

I wonder what games that laptop can handle. Would it run LoL or Rift alright?
