![]() I bought the Sapphire 7850 OC for 200-10MIR=$190 and was wondering if I should return it to get the Evga Superclocked 660 for $230. I will be playing @ 1080p on 1 monitor. Taking into account the return shipping costs of 10 bucks the difference between the two is $50. I can get the Sapphire 7950 for $280 after $20 MIR on Newegg right now too. I want to play games (BF3, Max Payne, etc) smoothly with high image quality but don't want to pay too much (the 7950 is really really pushing it). I think I should keep the 7850 but im just not sure.

![]() Keep the 7850. I play BF3 on high at 1080p with my GTX 555. Your card will more than do that.

![]() i'd say keep it, the very very mild jump to the 660 (like what.. 5% ?) is hardly worth bothering for.. now IF someone would give ya $130-150 for your 7800 then yeah I'd jump all over the 7950, then coming out to $130ish.. but if you dont plan on selling the 7850 to recoup any coin, keep it.

![]() From a pure performance point of view the two cards are very close so if that is your concern then I would stay with the 7850, which is a great card. If the games you play a lot support PhysX then the move would make sense. What about 3D or Eyefinity you ask? At this price point neither are viable things to make use of properly. |

![]() Thanks guys. I ended up keeping the 7850 and it runs beautifully. At least while playing CSGO (havnt checked BF3) temps max at 55*C. Since I'm not a hardcore gamer its ridiculous that I almost payed 200+ for a video card.

![]() Keep the 7850, it's and awesome card and even better if you overclock it ![]() I have my powercolor running at 1200 core / 5400 mem ( which is close to 7950 performance.) and I'm really happy with it. Plus the best thing about AMD is the 3rd party Radeon Pro tool. Check the Guru3d forum for the latest beta! Andy |

![]() I agree that you should keep the HD 7850. That jump to the GTX 660 isn't all that great.

![]() If you go to www.anandtech.com, click on 'Bench' at the top and pick 'GPUs 2012' you can compare the GTX 660 versus your HD 7850. ![]() |
