Really interested in how you can customize the fighting style of the various peeps. Like ranged Thor vs support Thor, etc. plus a good bit of fashionsouls never hurts.

The genre isn't for everyone, that's for sure - but given I have a Marvel themed leg sleeve which is going to include Captain America...yeah. I'm in it no matter what

I already bought the digital deluxe a while ago man. I'm in it to win it. Would love some company to go through some missions. I'd suggest playing through the 2 open beta weekends though before purchase to make sure it's something you'll enjoy. I'm pretty much a sucker for anything Avengers related.

Will depend on size of campaign and if there is grinding. If too much grinding I may give it a pass.
Btw all the loot you get doesn’t change looks of the character. Which seems like a major bummer.

You know, I didn’t think the loot thing would bother me but... it kinda does. Like, the loot for the Hulk is all internal (think new bones, etc.), so ok. However, Ms. Marvel’s loot is stuff like her bracelet. Why can’t that bracelet change? You can still keep a “look” from the comics and add some minor cosmetic changes because of the loot.

On the fence about that decision. We’ll see if the annoyance grows when I’m able to play as more characters.

Well that's killed my hype for the game, Only reason I usually play games like these is to grind and get sexy armour or loot and be like "Look bitches! Look how much I waste my time on games!"

Me too. I’m going to play through a few additional missions today but right now I’m 50/50 on canceling the preorder (if I can). It’s great if a new piece of gear gives me 5% more pym particles, but if my pym powered iron man looks the same as a gamma powered iron man.... what’s the point?

Yes that alone has been the criticism for the game. They should have taken a page from movies or DC Injustice games where loot actually motivates you to do something. Here it is completely nonsensical. Anyways I only watched videos. Will pick it up after reading reviews. I would have loved iron man suits of all types not using the same suit like all the frickin’ time.

No clue man. There’s just something...off. Maybe it’s the loot. It’s like I’m getting stronger but I have no visual cue that anything has changed.

Kinda bummed. Still gonna keep playing for the weekend and see if my mind changes. If not, canceling the pre-order. Game could have been awesome but it just seems lackluster and kinda boring to me.

Well they thought wrong, lol.

The enemies in the beta are super generic, powers are...eh. Everything is just kinda “meh” with nothing being GREAT. There wasn’t a single time I went “AWESOME!” the entire time... and I have an Avengers themed leg sleeve

That should say something.

Sadly I'm not sure how lucky you will be with getting a Refund, Sony is the 2nd worst when it comes to refunds, being almost never, while Nintendo is just Never.

Yeah, I’ve read horror stories already from people who have tried with this game. I don’t even care if they just give me PSN credit, if I decide I don’t want a game, that I haven’t even played (beta access does not count) then I should be entitled to a refund.

This game is janky as ****. I can’t believe Crystal Dynamics got it so wrong. Still will buy if reviews say that the original storyline is worth something. Playing with Iron Man is painful.

It’s pretty bad, and no refund for me.

The only one I had fun playing was cap, and he’s not in the demo apart from the intro mission. I checked out the video for “Gotham Knights” and how the hell does a pre-alpha have better graphics, a more interesting boss fight, and better looking combat than game
