ECS shows off first desktop Trinity boards with FM2 socket
The new ECS A85F2-A Deluxe mainboard is announced, featuring support for Desktop Trinity APU's (A8 and A10, now due in September). The mobo appears to feature a new Fusion Controller Hub, A85, which is apparently needed for the new features baked in to the second generation Fusion chip.
The A85F2-A Deluxe is an ATX motherboard equipped with an FM2 socket, two PCI Express x16 slots, three PCI Express x1 slots, and two PCI slots. It has four DDR3 slots with support for up to 64 GB of DDR3-1866 memory (DDR3-2,300 O.C.), seven SATA-600 ports, six USB 3.0 ports, eight USB 2.0 ports, one eSATA-600 port, one Gigabit Ethernet port, and HDMI, DVI and VGA video outputs.
It will be followed by A75F2-A2, A75F2-M2, A55F2-A2, and A55F2-M3 models which appear to use the older A55 chipset.
