No idea what I'll be looking at though, 34k maybe? not sure.

Is that with PhysX disabled? because you get the same GPU score as my 5850 Tri system but double my CPU score even though we both have i7 @ 4.4..

couldnt read it properly though but is that 60k CPU score?? tried to save pic but didnt come out full size.

for cpu i get: 61050
for gpu i get: 42708

physx is enabled lol. but my i7 only runs @ 4.2 gzh when benching cuz it makes my cpu runs way way hotter compare to just playing games "I need a better cooler" and back to 4.4 gzh when playing crysis,bad company 2 and games that dont make the cpu runs at 100%. Notice 3dmark is reading it 4.0 gzh is becuz of the turbo mode. plus those gpus are only running on stock. and im afraid of overclocking it for now cuz of the temps! lol i might need to water 3 of these or get a better case.

as for the CPU, I'm surpised the temps are too high Noctua air cooling working great here at 4.4 (no turbo boost + HT)

i havent ran it without disable as for temps for cpu i had to up the vcore to 1.55v just to get 4.4 gzh stable. and 1.45v to get to 4.2 gzh. maybe the i7 920 i got was unlucky.

Ma new Vantage score wit just 52 mzh overclock on the gpu's. and i gained more than 1500 points lmao!

so demowhc this is a true dx11 benchmarks which brings out ur gpu's true performance not no old school directx 10 vantage. lets see what ur 5850's can spit out! note this are just default clock speed no overclocking at all.

lol why so defensive about Vantage numbers without PhysX? makes it easier to compare your score with other systems in this Vantage score thread..

and it's no secret ATi hardware fails at extreme tessellation in Heaven benchmark compared to Nvidia

as expected extreme tessellation setting raped my frame rate, when games use that amount I will start to care

Yeah, I sometimes wonder if nV made fermi have awesome tessellation performance in spite of the rumors regarding their shoddy tessellation or completely because of them.

It's scary to turn off physx in Vantage, it shortens the e-peen a bit.

Seriously though exotic, it's time to put some numbers up.

I think you will find at more reasonable levels of tessellation like that at which games will use that the scores dont vary so wildly. ATi's poor little tessellators just cant handle the unrealistic amount of tessellation going on in Heaven at extreme.

My vantage numbers are some way back and use my tri-sli gtx 280s. I think I got just over 30k in whatever the stock tests are, and at stock speeds. Being that I now only have two gtx 280s and a gtx 260 216, I've no desire to embarrass myself. Especially if I don't get the physx cheat since that's all my 260 is good for.

Nice seeing some numbers go up though. It's interesting how much things can vary depending on the test and game. Shows how the two gpus have evolved in different directions. I actually find it fascinating since they can be so different but inhabit the same space. They are more or less functionally equivalent even though they take different approaches. Quite amazing really that they can stay so close in performance year over year.

how is physx cheating when games uses nvidia physX? like um mafia 2, metro2033,cryostasis, batman arkham asylum, mirrors edge, unreal tournament 3, dark void and more to come. OF course 260 is useless even 280 aint enough when playing at 1920 x 1080 and beyond wit all bell and whistles all turned on its just a weak card heck my gtx 285 tri-sli was not even enough for me until i got the 5870 tri-fire but sadly that thing chokes on tessalations and ray tracing and eventually ended up on ebay lmao! i couldn't be more happier wit ma triple 480 not only its fast on tessalations it can do physx and ray tracing without watching a slide show. and demowhc benchmark on 3dmark wit no physx will be on monday or tuesday ma x58 classified gave up on me today so i had to order in newegg and replaced by asus rampage 3 formula which can do 16x.16x,16x pci e speed unlike ma classified that can only go 16x,8x,8x. it should be here by monday or tuesday the most.
