1st review of the 7970 GHz Edition?

I noticed no markings on the gpu itself. And the gpu voltage of 1.256v is high for a 1075GHz OC.

It really hard to make sense of the 680 results when you don't know what clock rate they got those results from.

Something up with those results...And this post clearly shows that the card can do well above 980MHz.

Mins are exactly the same from the standard to the GHz Edition for a DX9 game??

We should wait until the reviews are officially released. Some of those results didn't make any sense to me either

Unless this changes memory timings via bios as well, it's useless and a waste of $ to buy, considering everyone and their mother can hit these speeds pretty easily.

that's a pretty shortsighted view. everyone and their mother voids their warranty, too, and uses more power (generating more heat) doing it.
