Default 1st review of the 7970 GHz Edition?

There is a review out for the GHz Edition.
Link

I noticed no markings on the gpu itself. And the gpu voltage of 1.256v is high for a 1075GHz OC.

Looks like it's just engineering sample test card. I'm waiting for the official reviews.

It really hard to make sense of the 680 results when you don't know what clock rate they got those results from.

Edit:
Something up with those results...And this post clearly shows that the card can do well above 980MHz.

Edit2:
Mins are exactly the same from the standard to the GHz Edition for a DX9 game??
link

Edit3:
No AA used when averages are well over a 100 FPS?
Link
Results over 60 FPS? Link

So, in AvP DX11, the GHz edition is slower than the standard 7970?

We should wait until the reviews are officially released. Some of those results didn't make any sense to me either .

Why is there no information on a release date? When will the reviews be released?

Unless this changes memory timings via bios as well, it's useless and a waste of $ to buy, considering everyone and their mother can hit these speeds pretty easily.

that's a pretty shortsighted view. everyone and their mother voids their warranty, too, and uses more power (generating more heat) doing it.

It's the only view I know, I hate wasting $ on BS, and and I bet the difference you are talking about will be negligible.
