AMD Dell slips out the Inspiron M102z Brazos-powered laptop

Without making mush noise, PC maker Dell has added a new model to its Inspiron laptop line, a 11.6-inch machine called Inspiron M102z which runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit) and is based on AMD's first Fusion platform - Brazos.

Weighting in as low as 1.56kg, the M102z is available in two configurations, with the entry level one (priced at $699) featuring a 1.0 GHz C-50 APU with dual Bobcat x86 cores and Radeon HD 6250 graphics, 2GB of RAM, a 320GB (7200 RPM) hard drive, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a 56Whr 6-cell battery.

For $799 you can get a SKU boasting a 1.6 GHz E-350 APU (also with two cores but with Radeon HD 6310 graphics), 4GB of RAM, and a 500GB (7200 RPM) HDD.
