Look for some stuff by Umberto Tozzi. he's not exactly upbeat like them but he's pretty good....

You could try Luna Pop. That's basically what they are; an upbeat italian band.

I remember they were playing their single "Vespa 50 Special" on MTV when I stayed in Bologna with a friend back in 2000. Cheesy pop music, but it's upbeat *shrug*.

If you like ska, you can try Meganoidi.

Nino Patette is awesome asuming you can find it. He is a local from Cleveland and does this really great instrumental italian pieces that are just awesome.

I had to ask for more "samples" you know. The college income isn't that great these days. Which of their 4 albums do you find the best? Like I said I really did like that song.

Chapter III's my fave. I haven't listened to the most recent one, though.
