![]() just how is it these cluster f*** maps with stuff everywhere feel like 64player doesnt work while old BF's with practically wide open maps felt perfect? Is it just my memory getting me or does it feel like 64p doesn't belong in this game?

![]() So I have been spending a "few" hours yesterday playing MP and having a blast. Barely managed to play with Evileh and Dave. Though I did spend some time playing with Ray16. The game is a pure blast. It is so awesome that I enjoy it a so much. It is also far less frustrating that BC2 when it came out. Downside, I need to find time to finish my thesis >.> Also, I don't seem to be able to find any servers running Back to Karkand maps! Anyone noticed that? EDIT: Nvm, someone mentioned it is coming out later this year.

![]() I've been greatly enjoying what I've played of the multiplayer so far. I've had some games with Ragers as well as with a friend of mine and look forward to many more in the future. There are issues, but nothing that so bad that it makes me want to not play and they could all be patched up assuming the game gets proper post-release support (and it better given the pedigree and MSRP).

![]() Hmm finally got it installed tonight and only played single player to see how much I would suck being as Im uber rusty. Ya I suck so much a npc enemy player knifed me... in SINGLE PLAYER. I went too quickly ahead and was surrounded by him and his homies. Was an odd few secs where they kind of ignored me while I thought I was surrounded by friendly ai... Game is butter on max settings less HBAO on my 6950. 3 hours of steady play was stable too. Course MP might have something to say about Ultra everything... but love the sharp textures. That aint goin nowhere.

![]() You can change your gear very easily when you respawn. There's no need to go into the customization menu, just click on the gear icons on the respawn menu and choose the weapon you want. It will automatically include the weapon preset you had saved in the customization menu. |

Regarding seeing where squad mates are, is it not difficult for you to see where exactly they're located on the map? I might not have made that clear in my point above, but that's the problem I'm referring to. I've noticed that in 64-player servers, when I'm choosing someone to spawn on sometimes it's very difficult to see them on the mini-map to the right so I have absolutely no clue where that person is on the map or even in what direction they're headed or how close they are to clusters of spotted enemies! It's possible that I could just not be looking for the right icons on the mini-map. I know that you can see them through a third person camera in the background if you click and select them, but that's such a limited view it's impossible for me to determine exactly where they are and what's around them.

![]() For the spawn, I just click on the squadmates and see where they are. Game will show their position from the third person view and that's enough for me. |

![]() My view is that this game looks amazing with everything set to ultra! ![]() MP seems pretty good so far, I agree the chat window is too distracting, the actual box itself isn't transparent enough, the text is fine tho. Its nice to see they fixed all the gripes I had with the beta (bugs, glitches, damage model, etc). Its nice to see squad management, although I was frustrated to see on battelog they'd wiped even the platoons and friends list etc. I understand wiping the stats, but our platoon logo was funny :P I find it stupid that everyone cant play on the same day, I know retailers have there standard days to sell games on release, but thats a 'bricks and mortar' trait. I bought my copy online, it's silly I had to use a proxy just to bypass the date check... ![]()

![]() I did 64 player all evening yesterday, most of the maps are fine for it. A few end up a bit too chaotic but most work well. Firestorm especially, that one is great with 64.

![]() Havnt played any MP yet, and thought the campaign was average at first along with "good" graphics.. the first level or two were just ok.. But, it progressed into a really good game imo, and the graphics in parts are truely amazing. ![]() Will play MP tomorrow night.

Regarding my crashing issue, I had to drop the textures in multiplayer to medium and it's been stable ever since. I'd think I'd be able to run "high" with a 560ti, but it seemed to take care of my crashing issue at the moment. |

![]() saw some dolphin divers already, also cought a guy on my team exploiting the terrain, he just goes prone and shimmy himself inside a wall then proceeds to camp there the whole round, seems like half the people in pubs just lie there on their bellies doing nothing. I think putting prone in this game was a big mistake. |
