Default iOS Diagnostics & Usage

I had some strange things going on with my phone and I was preparing to contact Apple so I enabled Automatically Send for "Diagnostics & Usage" so it could run for a couple days before I called in.

Does Apple proactively use these reports to automatically fix phone issues? I ask because the strange issues went away.

Highly unlikely. They help when submitting requests so they can see what's going on with the device and what was running, etc.

Sort of like the dump files you post for Windows when trying to diagnose stuff.

You are correct. They looked at my logs after submitting a request and it looks like it is a patching issue when installing 9.3.2. I now have to go through a rather unsavory process to fix it.
