Arkansas can not be the least important state... There is too much big business here.

Wal-Mart, JB Hunt, Tyson, ABF, JTL, Alltel to name a few.

Not saying that most of Arkansas is not a rat hole. But, you can not call it unimportant.

You forgot Iowa... can't say I blame you. We're that state that people think is Idaho or Ohio and they aren't sure what we do here... We feed the world with our corn but you all think our we're the home of the Buckeye's and we grow potatoes!

Not least important, but easiest to forget.

At least South Dakota has Rushmore, North Dakota has bupkis. I'm pretty sure all we've got up there is wind and dirt.

We can give New Mexico to Mexico. and not tell them.. and allow them to cross the border there thinking it's the US.

SD is indeed better than ND, no doubt there. I've lived in both and there's really no comparison. ND is a barren wasteland compared to SD. For some reason SD came to mind first when I read the thread title though...

Seriously, who gives a f**k about their potatoes? Can't you grow potatoes elsewhere (which most of the time are better than the shitty ones in Idaho) in the U.S./Canada/Mexico?

That depends what's important to you..I can't really say which would be the LEAST important. I see a lot of mention of Wyoming, but is an exceptionally beautiful place, it's definately important to me.

Idaho also has a lot of beautiful places in the mountains as well, but they're not as touted as the potatoes I guess.

75% of Wyoming is a barren wasteland. Like I said earlier, every part south and east of Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons is nothing but 100mph winds and dirt; not exactly what I would call beautiful.

Haha, point taken. I've mostly just been around grand tetons/yellowstone, never much further. But hell I'd say it makes up for the rest of it being lame, as long as you stick to the western side.
