Hmm. Well, this should be interesting...c'mon, little R6990 blast furnace, let's feed you...

EDIT: well, I think this driverset actually made Rift a bit smoother (not zippier, just smoother)...but I'll have to go back during peak hours and see how it fares. And probably dust off BF3 or something.

inherent in the premise of frame rate smoothing is delaying frames ie lowering frame rate to benefit consistently.

These drivers made my GPU go to 80C when idling and thus overheating my processor and the laptop along the way. I barely managed to uninstall because the laptop would turn off due to heat in a couple of minutes after booting up. Everything also lagged quite a bit. I have a single 7670M and I'm really getting frustrated, these drivers nearly ruined my laptop.

The 13.8 beta2 drivers gave me a digital signature warning when I installed them. Something about the AMD overdrive. The log file had no errors though.

Well I'm happy to report these new beta 2's fixed my issues in Win 8.1 preview with not being able to alt-tab out of game without it crashing. Windows feels a LOT snappier too.

Have a 6970 2gb with 6 core AMD cpu.

When this happens, I just do a Refresh. But, yes, it's annoying.

I hate that. I kinda wish someone with a properly structured brain would come out and completely re-design VECC from scratch, once and for all and for good this time around.

Dang, and here I was thinking this bug was just due to my own configuration 'overclocking/etc/compatibility'. Good to see confirmation that it isn't just me.
