Some RAM?

Currently have 16gig, but another 16 might be fun and maybe will see an improvement. Just used for gaming. No plans for OCing now but maybe in future.
Not sure where to go from here. I can buy a 32gig kit and just sell this 16, but really don't know too much bout timings, mixing and matching kits, etc. I remember a while back it was considered not a good idea to mix-and-match kits... Don't care bout the lights on the ram now, the case window faces the wall so I won't see them. Thanks!

16 GB is enough for gaming. Only productivity apps may use more than 16. You are wasting your money.

Another 16GB wont be worth it for gaming unless you're getting it really cheap or free.

You'll see marginal gains unless you do application stuff like KAC said.

And yes don't mix sets, RAM speed will be kept to the lowest RAM set and there could potentially be instability issues with the mixture so best to keep them the same.
