Loved the first game way back whenever. But a sequel now? We'll see.

I enjoyed what the first one was about, but it was a darn frustrating game for me. I just suck at those types. I have a hard time believing this new incarnation will be any relation to the first one other than name.

I had the first game way back and was amazed by the "open world" environment. In practice though the open world never came into the gameplay and the AI was infuriating at times. I doubt it aged well at all but either this or Delta Force was probably the first FPS I ever played.

I loved Project I.G.I.!! I did hate the enemy re-spawning though. Sometimes they would re-spawn 2 feet away from you.

Played the demo of Project IGI and thought it was pretty mediocre at the time.

Played the first one. Was very difficult to finish but I did. Hated the second one. Do not understand why there is a third.

IGI 1 was good. Codemasters demoed IGI 2 at an exclusive side event, during i-series UK LAN back in oh 2002 or something. We all got very, very bored during the presentation.

I remember liking the first game. Never bought the 2nd because of the terrible reviews. Probably won't bother with the 3rd, as I've got way too many games to play and not enough time. I always root for games to succeed, though, so developers and testers get paid.

I recall the 2nd being a totally different feeling game and you made the right choice, cant say about the 3rd so will await judgement after its release and reviewed and patched then reviewed then patched and fixed then released on Steam.

I don't think the problem is that you suck, it's that the game was very badly done. The lack of any saves in levels that took quite a few minutes to get through was unnecessarily challenging. Of course, I have a special hatred for the original IGI because I made the mistake of playing it on hard, and after slogging through the game, I discovered the last 3-4 levels literally could not be beaten on hard (AI could hit you from further away than you could hit them), and I had to use a god mode cheat.

Fair or not, I won't even be considering this game. They should have let this IP die.
