Default Logitech MX510 right click dying?

Lately my right has not been responding, it does it on my desktop, in some games. I can right click about 6 times befor it does anything. I was wondering if this mouse had died befor for others and i can get a Logitech G5 for $34.99 +shipping from Logitech.com, if i should just get a new mouse.

This is a very common issue with Logitech mice, especially the MX510.

Mine died the same way, & i've been too lazy to RMA.

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/ut.../contact/US/EN

I called customer support. They will want you to try a few things like see if it does the same on another computer. I just told them ive tried everything and they were happy to ship another one out and only asked me to put marker over s/n's of the old mouse and do with it what i want. Also got them to send out a replacement for my friends whos was doing the same thing. We were both using mx1000.

Nice playing cs with you tonight.

Ok i called the support number and gave them my s/n#, m/n# and p/n# off my mouse, then waited on the line and then they said they are sending me a new MX518. Thanks Hann, saved me money and got an upgrade for free.
