You know ~6 months from now they will come out with the same cards on 7nm right? That might be worth it...

Nvidia’s RTX Super Turing cards will come with a new level of ray tracing power at every price point because they’re all going to launch with more RT and Tensor cores. That’s something which hasn’t really been spoken about in the reactions to the leaks around the upcoming Nvidia refresh; the apparent response to AMD’s Navi-based Radeon RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 graphics cards.

This is what we want, competition. Nvidia wouldnt be doing this if it wasnt for navi.

Navi BOM is ~100$. They can drop 150$ off the list price and still make money. Im liking what Im seeing vs vega 64. Its often a 20-30% upgrade. If reviews at 4k and good cooling and ocing from saphirre come out Im a buyer at 350. I dont think nvidia can drop its prices that much as their chips are huge.

AMD are only promoting the card as 1440p for gaming so I wouldn't hold out much hope for it's 4K performance because that's where the VII is promoted. Don't think they want to cannibalize their high end sales ATM.
