Android 2.2 security and encryption options?
I just purchased a used HTC Incredible so I could try out Verizon's network without a contract. Seems pretty good. This is my first Android phone so I'm a bit lost on the security pieces compared to RIM/Blackberry.
I know Motorola and HTC are working on remote wipe and device encryption in some form for the phones just coming out... are there options for the older ones like the Incredible?
I am happy with the Incredible's performance. After all it has higher performance than my first 4 computers and *almost* has a higher resolution screen too.
In my quest for security/encryption I did come across and install:
KeePassDroid < I have the PC version
SystemPanelLite Task Manager
All very nifty.
Also, lots of phones on craigs list thanks to the iPhone 4! I may get an iPhone 5 in the future.
