Default iMac help

Ok. I bought this iMac from a friend, yes, I know it's old, and yes I know it's way outdated, but honestly, it's pretty cool so far... I can get on the internnet just like that, etc... I've never owned a Mac, so this is the first time I've ever really messed around on one. First off, I'm running OSX 10.3.9 Panther, 256 sdram, and 350 mhz cpu. All I want to really use this for is to just record some music pieces and use garageband to put it all together.

So... I'm looking to download garageband seeing as this Mac didn't come with it... I don't have any of the discs that came with this, so I have to download the program if I can. I've only found the updates, so my next assumption is that Garageband comes preloaded on the Macs? If anyone knows where I can get Garageband (the full download), then that'd be rad... any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

So the only other way would be to purchase it? Lame! I don't feel like spending that much, since I got this Mac for $30. Oh well, thanks.

You can find a torrent for the latest version of iLife I'm sure.

Haha... actually, I'm doing that right now as we speak.. I'm about 51.6% done with it, but every like hour or so, it comes up with an error with the only thing I see it saying is "integer missing"... any help with this, I could download it a lot faster if this error wouldn't come up and stop my download... because I'm not constantly at my computer.
