Thumbs up Android Honeycomb tablets to offer glasses-free 3D screens/interfaces?! WOW

http://www.tgdaily.com/mobility-brie...tablet-from-lg

This looks SICK! A tablet thats slicker then an iPad with actual 3D that doesn't even need glasses... that is freaking AWESOME. I've heard it should ship with a 3D camera on it too for sweet 3D pics.

I WANT ONE

It's just like when they used to put an X in the title of everything, now it's 3D in the title of everything, some people are so easily manipulated into thinking it will be awesome just because it has a "3D" name.

You guys are missing the point, even 3D aside... which I still think is sweet when combined with a on-board 3D camers, this thing looks like a great alternative to an iPad.

Honeycomb Android means a wave of cheap as-good-as iPad tablets that don't suck. Plus this 3D stuff COULD pan out... don't dismiss it until you see a demo.

There's no comparison, an "X" in a name was just a letter, while 3D denotes an actual effect. And 3D is pretty awesome, especially porn!

Nintendo is already demonstrating the 3DS which does this and will be released soon. I don't know what you find so unbelievable about glasses free 3D. Clearly it is possible and even economically feasible.

The fourth dimension is time so we already got that. I'm surprised no one has labeled anything as such.

Now IMO I don't find 3D compelling on a handset or even a pad without the GPU horsepower to back it up which I don't think they have yet.

That "the" fourth dimension is time can be disputed, since there are more views of "a" fourth dimension that all fit the bill. But that was not my point. Just saw the commercial on tv for this product and went

Sticking to simple relativity it is. I suppose if you want to get into string theory or something but that is getting kind of deep for a tech forum.

Shouldn't dimensions allow you freely navigate them? Time is kind of an one way street.
