Default Thief 3 - shadow corruption with 4.5 drivers

Just wanted to report that there is a bug with all the drivers after Catalyst 4.4 in Thief 3. The Read Me states that any other drivers besides Catalyst 4.4 will have shadow corruptions and I bought the game today - its TRUE. 4.5 beta and 4.5 original have shadows going through walls...
4.3 have it, and only 4.4 do not have it.

Another thing to fix in Catalyst 4.6!

Tell me about it. I hate it when publishers take games out over here sometime after the us ofr jap versions. I've been waiting for thief 3 for a while now but at least I know it has problems with these cats before I get it. Mind you console games seem to take longer so I'm glad my main gaming platform is my pc.

I get the exact sasme thing with 4.5 . Walls flicker depending on which angle you observe them from. Really annoying for a game where light is so important

Im using the 4.5 and I dont have this problem at all. So far no weirdness playing Thief 3.

Not sure why you guys are having problems. Also the read me doesnt say what you said it says. It says only 4.4 cats and up are supported. Meaning both 4.4 and 4.5 shouldnt have any problems.

Again not sure why your having this problem Im not seeing anything remotely like what your talking about.

No. Shadows/Lighting is still borked, just as it is in Pandora Tomorrow and Invisible War.

So it's 4.4's for me.... where I have to suffer again with having to turn the shadows off in Desert Rats vs Afrika Korps.

Same exact problems for me. Really quite annoying, especially in SC:PT and Thief where the shadows are really important.

Getting borked shadows too with 4.5's

Too lazy to go back to 4.4's so I'll just wait for the 4.6

I'#m too lazy too Hope it gets fixed in 4.6 as I'm going to stop playing this game until I can play with decent shadows. It ruins the game to play with the flickering lights

You're supposed to be happy to install different drivers to play different games. It's all part of the fun

Same here. Though I'm running a 9000pro soooo, I thought that my card was supposed to be the buggy one.

I think it may be influencing only R3x0 and R420 cards. Any drivers besides 4.4 are giving me shadow flickering problems.

Default flickering in Cat 4.5

Same problem here - on the TS demo.

How do you file a bug report to ATI?

Thanks...

D.
