Audi2Honda is still being judged by the masses

Default Folding? Does it really help anyone? all I see are high score discussions

Scoring the most points is great and all, but I haven't seen anywhere that this is actually helping science directly. I mean is there a news story or something that says all your guys work has directly effected some new break through or something?

I've got this fast intel rig that I suppose I could use for this folding, but I'm not so much concerned with scores. If it really helps someone I'll run my CPU at 100% all day.

thanks

Cancer is not easily beaten. It will take time to do the research and find the cure(s).

Even though every single step and contribution may seem insignificant, but taken as a whole over long periods of time, progress is faster than doing nothing.

And a lot of folders here have close personal experiences where cancer entered people's lives and changed it forever. Trust me, when cancer hits someone you know and care about, you will fold - even if it's just out of the need to do something, anything, rather than nothing.

Patience, perseverance, determination, fold for a long time - slowly something will happen.

So are you going to fold or do nothing? Your contribution will definitely help. Mountain is made from countless particles of sand...

Amen to you.

Hey Ozz the wizard, how are you doing! You're still making good progress, 26.5K and climbing. Good stuff. Keep folding.

yes, the points make it fun. they make it competitive, people add more machines to make more points, all at the same time in the name of cancer.

Although I fold to hopefully find a cure, I only worry about the points because I don't know anything about the science - so I leave that to the experts at Stanford.

If I didn't believe in their abilities and research, then I wouldn't think twice about this project.
