Man this game looks excellent and plays butter smooth. I hope the final is as smooth and great as the demos. I really like the squad based play...you feel like you are part of something bigger compared to MOHAA.

I've been getting hard locks in OpenGL games lately though and it just happened with this demo too

A big THANK YOU for the links. Downloading now. I've never been into WWII games but this is something unreal... (no pun intended). The atmosphere of the first demo is unbelievable... and this one should be just as good. In fact, I've always wished that the COD demo would be set in daytime... I'm very much looking forward to this game.

You could've played the first demo in daytime. Just by adding one little file to one of your CoD directories. There's 4 different skyboxes to choose from.

Well, just adding a sky with lighter colours does not make it daytime... look at all the colors in all objects. They remain dark and washed-out. It takes more... but this second demo does it.

...
Some nice chappy decided to leak a new Call of Duty demo onto the net yesterday. Thankfully it seems the leak was quashed before the file was mirrored everywhere. In the process of helping Activision identify what the demo actually was, I downloaded it. Turns out it's meant to be on a US games magazine in their December issue. I couldn't resist the temptation to play it as it was sitting on my HDD and I've got to say that it's mighty fine, and it just makes me want the full game even more now..

Just like in the first demo, it lags seriously with a lot of action on screen. I guess it must be the AI?

Am I really that much CPU limited?

Did you enable triple buffer for OpenGL in the ATi driver Control Panel?
Both demo's run smooth as silk on my 8500.

Awww man. I gotta play this!

First link for me doesn't seem to work right, and the second link is always full.

Fileplanet/shack doesn't seem to have this yet either. =(

Any other links would be appreciated if you can find 'em!

Love.

Got the new demo from #32's first link- thanks #32. (Spoiler!) The second tank got me- didn't make it all the way to the end. Awsome demo. Really looking forward to finished product. They are backing up their hype of "the most intense WWII shooter..."
Nooby, where did you get October 30? The last release date I saw was November 4 (the local EB is currently pre-selling for that date). I hope you're right.
