Is this the movie where he squanders his money, loses his house, and still can't act his way out of a cardboard box?

He was in some good movies. Well the only ones that come to mind at the moment are Bringing Out The Dead, Lord of War and I enjoyed National Treasure.

The only movie worth mentioning that stars Nicholas Cage is, Raising Arizona.

Bringing Out the Dead is poop. Thus, Cage's only good movies are:

Raising Arizona
Wild at Heart
Red Rock West
Lord of War

Leaving las Vegas is no doubt his best movie to date.

On a side note I have no sympathy for him and his blown millions, He really needs to drop his ridiculous lawsuit.

he came in the hollywood nudity era, a period of time in which every movie had a hot naked chick and people were waiting in line to see the actor having sex with the actress.

Sex is available everwhere these days, that is why hollywood isnt making alot of money.

Really? I thought it was because hollywood is making trash...

Your argument would fit the porn industry.

Oh yeah, Rumblefish... but not a "Nicolas Cage" movie, per se. There is Birdy and Adaptation though. So, he's actually been in more good movies than one initially reckons on account of being in so many more really bad ones.
