Default Star Trek D.A.C. (neat looking little action game)

http://www.paramount.com/games/star-trek-d-a-c/details

This came out of nowhere, looks fun. It's multiplayer too with cooperative apparently. $10 too, ($9 if you order right now from STEAM).

For $10, I wasn't expecting anything ground breaking. Looks fun.

Sweet, a PC version - played it on the 360 when it came out on arcade and it was fun. It's basically like a very arcadey star control, quite hectic.

Now if Shadow Complex gets a PC version...

It was released several months ago on XBox Live (more timely with the new movie). I heard it was terrible.

Yeah it looks pretty lame. It is, for all practical purposes, multiplayer only. The game only consists of 3 arena based MP modes that you can optionally play with bots. If you're thinking it's like Raiden or Gradius or whatever with a progression through single player levels, it's not. I would not pay $5 for this, let alone $10.

Its got some single player elements like survival mode etc. Its certainly not the best game in the world but it was cheap. It scales with Crossfire 100% without a profile.

The price caught my attention, but I have no idea on what to expect from it.

I hate being restricted in movement via a little gray box , your ship hits this invisible wall and you bounce back.

Uninstalled

They should just release an updated version of the StarFleet command series. You know, with a new engine gfx etc. That would be awesome.

This. Problem is, the company that made those games is long since defunct.

I have an account and play it off and on every now and then. They've been in the "Alpha" stage of the game for over 3 years now.
