Girlfriends work buddies

My girlfriend works with two guys, one young guy and one my age {35}.Shes become pretty good friends with them.The past week or so, she been getting alot of text messages from them even when we are together, {weekends}.I feel like im sort of being neglected or maybe even a little bit jealous.I remember back when my friend would call me alot when i was hanging out with her and she got annoyed at it.So it kinda feels like the shoe is on the other foot.Theres been a few times when her work guy friends have went over to her apartment to hang out.I wasnt there at the time, but i trust her not to do anything stupid.The problem is these friends , well one in particular has a weed problem.He pretty much smokes every day, and he was caught at work smoking weed on his break, which is bad cause they operate vehicles.Her younger work friend is a nice guy from all account and has a good sense of humor, i like him much better than the older guy.The older work guy seems to influence the younger guy, hes kinda bascially his dealer from what i see.

My girlfriend has had some pretty serious drug dependancies in her past which she overcame.I'm worried she is gonna fall down that path again with hanging out with these guys.We all went to a party on halloween night and we had one gram of shrooms.I was talked into it, so i kinda sound like a hypocrite but i dont want this to become a regular thing.I trust my girlfriend, but i get worried for her and if she becomes too close to one of these friends.If i was hanging out with girls from work i wonder how she would feel?

Yesterday she told me she doesnt want to hang out with them anymore {cept wing nights on wednesdays} and thinks they might be a bad influence also, and said she doesnt want to loose me.But i still kinda worry a bit

I won't give you advise but this is what I would do. I'd get to know these guys at least. I wouldn't tell my girlfriend "I'm concerned about who you're hanging out with" because that could lead to trouble. If I think that she might slip up around these people then I'd rather be with her at that time.

If she feels uncomfortable with the idea of you hanging with them then she has already slipped up.

I'd be concerned if my girl was constantly hanging out with guys I haven't met nor bothered to introduce me too. I don't play that shizt. She knows the rules.

Heh, I don't look at that as an advise though, I just presented a scenario from personal experience. It's more like my inspiration to him rather than advise. People have given me countless advises and what I learned is that those advises come straight out of their asses because countless times they don't take their own advise, they just like to talk.

#3 - Totally agree. While it isn't true 100% of the time, it's true 95% of the time. Do you really think these jokers are part of the lucky 5%?

#4 - Agree again, especially since your gf had drug problems in the past. You should be a little more responsible, as your gf looks up to you. I'm not saying some weed every now and then is bad overall, but with her prior problem, that should be zero tolerance.
