I'm not really planning to get married anytime soon, but I was just browsing through Amazon and checked wedding ring prices. I found this fine piece. The replies crack me up. ![]() http://www.amazon.com/Platinum-Radia...6389087&sr=1-1 For the married folk here though, what's a reasonable price for a wedding ring? |

I like how when you look at these million dollar items it also says: "Customers Who Bought Related Items Also Bought" Doesn't it mean: "Customers who browsed related items and laughed also looked at this one and laughed at the poor suckers wasting their money"

Isn't 1 months salary the going rate?

There's no "going rate". Seriously. Maybe in the 1950's there was. Spend as much or as little as you think will result in a ring that she will treasure (sentimentally, not in terms of loot). I think I spent 2-3 months salary at the time to get something I'd be proud giving her that I also knew generally met what she was looking for (e.g., platinum not gold, < 1 carat diamond).

Haha, some of those reviews are great. Not that I'll ever get married, but if I did I'd want some sort of damascus ring for myself. ![]() ![]() ![]()
