Thinking About Selling the .:R

It's not something I like to think about, but I may be putting the R32 up for sale. My wife and I are expecting our first child in November and it's looking like it may be time for something a bit more practical. I absolutely love this car, will hate to see it go.

Yeah, H&R Coilovers. Pretty much the stiffest setup on the market when I had them installed.

Anyway, the ride quality of the car isn't really the issue. We've moved into a house and I find myself borrowing a friend's truck on a regular basis. That along with the fact that our family is growing is pushing me towards a crew cab truck or SUV. We've thought about keeping the R and buying a cheap used truck/SUV, but we don't really have room for three vehicles. We'd sell my wife's Camry, but need at least one vehicle with semi-decent gas mileage.

Well...

It is well known that for Mk4's to handle worth a damn, you don't lower them. You lower for looks.

Well, unless you do a massive cast of supporting mods like ball bearing bushings, changing knuckles, different control arms, different strut mounts, etc. etc.

Sooo... It's like tarting up a Honda Civic, slamming it so there is no suspension travel... Why do it?

And why would you make the assumption that all I've done to the suspension is throw some coilovers on it? I didn't think any post on here warranted an exhaustive list of mods I've done to the car.
