Default LinuxMint Install

Installed 12.4 drivers on LinuxMint, did not uninstall 12.3. Anyways it still indicates in CC as 12.3. Procedure in how to install drivers in Linux as in uninstall etc. first I am not sure that has to be done. So far they seem to work just fine, that is if they are actually 12.4s .

IIRC Mint is based on Ubuntu so you can try some of the advice offered for that distro.

Thanks Jim for the two links, will try tomorrow and see what happens . Unigen 3 benchmark in OpenGL runs good in LinuxMint, has tesselation and all the features of the DX version as well. I will compare performance to Windows version OpenGL/DX probably tomorrow.

LinuxMint is one clean and elegant OS! It puts Windows to shame from a style/aritistic type point. It has something similar to Metro but a hell a lot better too with filters or not to break down the type of programs. Going to have to share some images of it to show this.

Uninstalled Catalyst drivers and installed 12.4 linux and it still indicates 12.3. So I will just assume they are 12.4 with a wrong version date in CCC. Listed below is CCC info of installed driver, can't confirm or not from AMD if this is 12.4 since no listings I could find what packages are in the driver:
Catalys Version - 12.3?
Driver Packaging Ver - 8.951-120308a-135854C-ATI
2D Driver Version 8.96.4
CCC version - 2.14
RandR Version - 1.3
