I want to get a baseball hat but I have no idea if I should go slightly larger or smaller. My head measures 23" which is between a hat size of 7 1/4" and 7 3/8". If it's one of those flexfit ones, which size should I go for?

The guys over at team fortress 2 are hat experts. I'd try contacting them.

Look at the size of that boy's head. It's like an orange on a toothpick

I've never once looked at sizing when buying a baseball cap, they all seem to fit. I don't wear new era hats though so I dunno...

I don't wear hats and have never been sized for one. Get the bigger size, that way if you go a few weeks without a haircut, it's not too tight. ![]()

The world is so exquisite with so much love and moral depth, that there is no reason to deceive ourselves with pretty stories for which there's little good evidence. Far better it seems to me, in our vulnerability, is to look death in the eye and to be grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides." - Carl Sagan |

Fitted hats shrink, so you should always get 1 size larger then the one you measure at. |

At least you're still in the zone of relatively popular hat sizes. My head measures 24" with short hair, so I am at a loss where to buy one for my size. But on the bright side, you know what they say about guys with big heads... ![]() |

The L/XL size in Flexfit unless your head is the size of a grapefruit. Quote:
