Got a key. Installed. Have spent 20 mins 'waiting for players' in the lobby, to get moved again and again and again. Oh, then one actually starts loading... And takes 5 mins. I give up, alt-tab, end task. Rinse and repeat, i'm sitting here just in a lobby right now... Not going anywhere. I'm being patient but wtf, I know this is a beta test, but I cant even get in a game!?

According to a few forums everyone is having similar issues. I entered a private match on my own, game feels good. I need some fast paced action like UT again and i'm hoping this can at least try and live up to it!

I don't understand why they don't have a section for the beta on their forums

. It seems like they didn't really want to let anyone into the Beta, but did "just because".

And yeah, same issues as everyone else. Sat at the lobby waiting for a game to start for about 20mins.

Ugh this game is horrible. Takes ages to get into a match and multiple attempts as the matchmaking is truly hideous and the graphics are beyond terrible and the gameplay (if it could be called as such) is boring once you actually get to play.

This game is a "failed" copy of the Unreal Tournament games. I've "played" for over an hour , and well... it sux sor far. With their "new update" they have broken the CFX , now the game runs at 20 fps here (all maxed out). Graphics is no way of what Crysis 2 was (Since it uses the CryEngine 3) , also the maps are very , very small.

The matchmaking system is a joke , extremely bugged. The match only starts when has 7 playes on the lobby (7 playes yes... 4x3) and the time counter resets everytime someone leaves the lobby. Is really a pain to start a game , this when you can start a game , sometimes you enter in a match which has already began and you get stuck at the loading screen (I need to force-close the game).

its a beta game from a small dev team that started out as a free game making studio whose game was hosted on moddb.com.

they are selling the game for 8.99. cut them some slack and lower your expectations lol.

Yes it's a beta, expect "failed" releases. As far as an Unreal Tournament clone, well, I welcome this. We need a new fast paced modern FPS similar to Quake 3 and UT. (besides Ascend).

yea that's what i'm thinking too. hopefully the problems will be sorted out before launch. no one releases deathmatch games these day so i don't want the one that is releasing to fail.

Beta works for the most part now, but...eh, I'm not really feeling it. Not a big fan of the way it plays and performance seems iffy on the higher detail settings.

choosing an engine like this for a fast paced deathmatch game is questionable yea. but the price and and the rarity of the genre made it a no brainer for me. if nothing, it will remind me of the quake 3 era.

That's the problem! The "free" or Nexuiz Classic as it's called, is really fun. How they managed to ruin it is beyond me.

Them going multi platform probably has something to do with it, designing a proper old school fps that is also playable on a gamepad is not possible,
