@noko u have a separate ac unit for your case or just pipe a line in from your central ac? The sandwich cfx arrangement i have prolly doesnt help my situation either.

lol not hatin'. I didn't want the extra volts and not really interested in maxing out CCC either. Difference between 1050/1500 vs. 1125/1575 was too little to really care. At 1050/1500 I was assured of temps exactly like they were at 925/1375.

Either way, what's done is done. Going to wait till end of next week or alternatively, will just get another 7970 and call it a day.

Separate unit, enclosed loop, can go below freezing temps on cool days air blowing into case, case is insulated on the inside which prevents condensation on the outside plus makes it more quiet as well. I normally direct the video card air output back into the case, don't want to loose any cool air

. I always end up with video cards that exhaust in the rear which is some what a hassle, should buy the modified cards with fans blowing back inside the case but when I upgrade I usually buy a reference card when first launched. Case now would be considered a vintage almost antique design, it has only two 80mm fans exhausting

. I think it was 2002 when I modified the case and built it for my Radeon 9700Pro, been working since with multiple motherboards and video cards.

I love how it looks, also funny that I have 3x20cm fans and am not even close to cooling efficiency of that. Great build in comparision with all those shiny cases around, congrats.
