I've tried both 9.12 and the 9.12 hotfix drivers. I have 2 5870s in Crossfire. But when a flashbang hits, it no longer flashes the screen white. But instead flashes bands of white and scrambled screen. I've yet to try running just a single card. I'll do that as soon as I can. |

The laser you have for pointing out targets for the stryker also got screwed up with Catalyst 9.12 and 9.12Hotfix drivers.

I used to have this problem with Modern Warfare 1 and my Crossfired 3870s. It took ATI like six months to fix the problem. Don't hold your breath! I'm also having a little trouble understanding how a SEQUEL running the SAME ENGINE can have the SAME PROBLEM just two years later. How does the ATI driver team not learn from the past? It's the same damn game!

So yes, using a single card does not exhibit the problem. Also, the game plays the same with a single card. It's just a pain to remember to switch it on and off when starting different games. |

Guys, when you get flashbanged only one card can actually draw the flash you get on the screen. So crossfire users usually see a flickercause one card draws it and the other dont.

i got mw2 finally, screen goes white, then a sec later flickers between really bright & kinda bright, & continues fading it probably shouldnt be flickering, but it looks kinda cool & really makes me focus on trying to see (well it IS a flashbang) oh & it's not quite the same engine as cod4 & 5, vsync actually works properly now.. & if you look on my list of profiles, there is no iw4*.exe... speaking of which, try to rename to iw3sp/iw3mp to get the cod4 profile to kick in, or codwaw/codwawmp for cod5's profile Last edited by kn00tcn : Jan 21, 2010 at 01:17 AM. |

I wouldnt use the WaW profile because it's shiit. You get an extra 30-40% in WaW by renaming to AFR-FriendlyD3D.exe over the default crossfire profile.
