Where is Ferbie!!?!?! In all seriousness, was anything said in the call about Fermi hitting retail? Or are you all gonna make me listen to the whole thing?

As time passed the feature slowly matured but had limitations that, of course, Razor kept on harping on:

He repeated it over and over and said that it would never be official and he was right after all.
I remember the EATM debate, we tested the hell out of it and it my mind it was a good adition, I remember testing Unreal with it so many times...

Lost in space

I quess when highest single GF100 based SKU hiting the retail in volume (early march), performance level will be in the HD5850 level in PhysX and bias free (still 99.5% of the games meet this) DX9/DX10/DX10.1 games, and in DX11 20-30% slower, so basically its will be NV R600, ~6 months late, and its the same level than the second fastest single core GPU with older DX API, and slower in the new DX API.

True so someone just happens to have a GT300 and shows off a id of it? I dont think so. If they were under NDA and had one, i would think they wouldnt show crap. And wouldnt the software just not show the properties? Why would it just make them up? It shows GT200 like specs but has it labeled GT300? I would take that shot with a grain of salt.

i know that my G70 M has misdetected ROPs @ 24, but w1zzard says there is ambiguity between the technical documentations founds around the internet... and so his program guesses it (the number of ROPs) to be 24 ROPs even though it's (the number of ROPs) 16... there is reason to conclude that there could have been preliminary or stubbed-out* support for detecting the specifications of a GF100 or "GT300" back in the A1 revision era

*function prototypes, and expands member function definiton stubs

as far as we know there could be a function called calc_rops(); that looks like this when a "g70 m" or 10de:0099 device is detected...

calc_rops(){

if (vendor_id=="10de") {

if (device_id=="0099"){
int rops=24;

You wanted someone to post it was a fake or a mock-up, didn't want to disappoint anyone.

Nice to see an actual image of a Fermi card, but why such low rez? Can hardly see anything.
