Well I tested this over the weekend, as Neil asked I did a test with a single 285GTX, SLI and TRI-SLI. Single card experience pausing and hitching aswell as the graphical issues Neil has in BattleField 2. SLI and TRI-SLI the issues do not occur. So this shows to be a problem with single cards, probably because the way the driver now addresses memory??? Your guess is as good as mine. Drivers Used: Windows 7 RTM X64 Directx August Redist NFORCE 15.51 ( Storage & Ethernet ) Forceware 191.56 XFI Titanium July Release

One of my clan members has GTX295 SLI and another has Tri GTX285 SLI and both claim that drivers are practically unsuable because of stuttering and performance issues after 186.18whql iirc, 186 something anyway..

I see some stuttering in need for speed shift too (even with vsync turned off). 9800gt 1gb Xp sp3 191.07 drivers. It doesn´t seem to be processor caused since game doesn´t even max it, it hovers around 60/80%. ![]() |
