installed, restarted, went to enable sli and computer locked. hit the reset button, windows loaded up in 640x480 vga mode saying the drivers were for an older version of windows and im now running on the base vga drivers. went back to 174.74

Yea, I just tried them and the same thing happend to me. They suck....
At least for SLi it appears. Thats how the beta game goes.

Tested DoW:SoulStorm, Assassin's Creed, DiRT, and TF2, no problems.

Gave them a whirl over the weekend; the good: control panel MUCH more responsive, no more minor delays in the 3d settings advanced tab. The bad: random ctd's in Oblivion.

Back to 174.74 for me until the next 'official' beta

Has anyone who has had past issues with Assassin's Creed tried these drivers out? AC will crash quite a lot on me (8800 GT) so I am hoping that a new driver will be the magic bullet.

Anyone?

I am installing these in a few minutes and will post results here.

AC worked fine with these drivers in Vista X64 SP1. I played some and entered Juresalem.

Assassin's Creed is unstable for me with 174.16, 174.60, 174.74 and 174.93. I have'nt tried 169.XX yet, I might do that sometime soon.

It can be the high overclock that you are running at. I had to sort of back down my CPU from 3.15 to 3.0 GHz since my system felt unstable/sticky sort of...
