Honestly I expect the nextgen console hardware to be a bit boring (in a good way!). Ryzen+Navi APUs with a touch of ray tracing hardware support, ssd (likely coupled with additional mass storage). If there's any big surprises it will be about ultra-low latency streaming to phone or vr headsets. I doubt there will be much deviation from that.

One thing I'd love to see is support for previous-gen controllers. I don't feel that either xbox or playstation need new controllers.
