This makes me question my PC or the game software. I was using the render.perfoverlayvisible and was getting huge spikes, like through the top of the screen whenever I was around groups of people, flash of weapons firing at me, flash lights pointing at me, explosions...wait I might as well say everything, but these were the main issues that caused massive spikes.
I have been having an ongoing issue with the one shot kill syndrome since beta. It was not a noticeable issue in Alpha. Last night I went in to the advanced settings of my network device and changed the incoming and outgoing transmit buffer values to their maximum setting.
Transmit Buffers sets the number of Transmit Buffers used by the adapter when copying data to memory. Increasing this value can enhance transmission performance, but also consumes system memory.
After doing this and also removing 6GB of the 12GB of memory and my performance in the game has improved, so far.
