Weird design flaw. Anyway, you can hide the icon. You need to:
- Go to this folder and edit the file: c:\programdata\origin\installedgames.xml
- Edit the line gameID="71171" lastPlayed="1319040640" hidden"0" favorite="0" and change the hidden value to 1.
- Then restart Origin, or try to update your games list first.
I tried just erasing the line, no luck there :/
