Because it's consistent, I change drivers like people change underwear. I can go from 13.12's and consistently it will be 300 points higher than the beta 14's and beta 13's. and 400 points higher than the leaked drivers. Every single time. I'm not the only one who has noticed this either. Some drivers are just better at 3dmark and the 13.12's were pretty darn good. Also mine don't fluctuate like yours by 100 points maybe 20 points. Maybe because my fan profiles allow no throttling, so from the moment of go, I'm full tilt til the end? Fire strike extreme is pretty dang consistent. No seriously.
So not sure what your beef is, but your wrong. But please insult me more....
13.12's: 12552;12561;12556 etc.... (stock clocks) not sure why you fluctuate like you do, but I don't.
btw my driver change process is run 3dmark on 13.12's, install new drivers, run 3dmark, test some games go back to 13.12's. So I've compared it alot and benched the beta drivers alot. Always the same. 13.12's 300 points higher then betas every time (400 for press leaked 14.1's). benching is fun, and trying to get higher numbers is fun, so whats it to you if I care about 100 points? why did you buy a 290x instead of a 290? 290 is plenty fast enough and not much slower than a 290, cant believe someone from 2004 would do that, no seriously?? maybe because you wanted that extra bit of performance you will never notice, but like nonetheless, same here, same reason I care if I lose 100 points, that could mean the beta drivers don't perform in other situations (besides a bench) as well as the 13.12's could it not?
