Veazer is still being judged by the masses

Thumbs up What to avoid...

I heartily agree with DigitalOv, avoid VIA. I have built three systems with Abit KA7-100 motherboards (they use the KX133 chipset) and they have been a pain. I am typically a huge fan of Abit motherboards but the VIA chipsets on the KA7-100 are a big minus. USB devices often don't initialize on boot up and have to be unplugged and re-plugged (twice!). VIA keeps releasing drivers but the problems don't go away. The systems just have weird quirks that I haven't seen in other systems I have built.

Check out http://bxboards.com and see what they are recommending these days. I think they do a good job of motherboard reviews.
