Maybe Nvidia is leaving the drivers suck until the R350 comes out, then we'll see a set come out that monumentally improves performance to near (but not quite) R350 levels?
They've done it before and I wouldn't be surprised if they tried it again. After all, the drivers do need a lot of tuning...
