Aerobiz

Anyone remember this game or its sequel titled: Aerobiz: Supersonic? Both were SNES games by KOEI and just about the only console strategy games of their time, let alone in the specific genre of airline management. I loved these games. I'm sure they'd be a bit simplistic by today's standards but they were quite good back in the early 90's.
The original was fun but the sequel made me fall in love. I spent countless hours managing virtual airlines of past, present, and future. I wish I had an SNES so I could play these games again. I've never been able to find any console or PC game that could rival Aerobiz or its sequel for sheer playability.

Yeah, I do. As soon as I saw the name of the thread, I thought of the SNES cart... Very unique.

Yay! Someone else remembers! Did you play both games? Which did you like better? Anyone else remember these games, or are typoEDR and I the only ones nerdy enough to have played them?

KOEI was the king of SNES strategy/sim gaming.

Aerobiz and its Sequel
Uncharted Waters and its sequel

I have never played Aerobiz(I did watch friends play it though), but Uncharted Waters and Uncharted Waters: New Horizons were amazing! :)

I was addicted to this game. I rented it once back when I had snes and bought it the next day.

Same here. I rented it once and was immediately hooked. Too bad they don't make games like they used to :(

I played Aerobiz and Aerobiz: Supersonic on my Genesis.

I enjoyed Aerobiz a lot.. but I couldn't get into Supersonic...

That was probably the most well balanced strategy game I've ever played.
